There are some good recipes at the back of this book that I will no doubt use. The problem with it is mainly that so much of the book is padding and, when you strip that away it isn't really worth the £12.99 price tag.I would also have preferred some more general advice about quantities and proportions of food so that I can decide on my own menu, one that suits my family's life. This book doesn't provide that. Instead it is a set four weekly menu that you follow, made up mostly from the recipes at the back of the book which often involve time consuming preparation for lunch/breakfast that makes it completely impractical for me.I'm still looking for a good general book on eating a healthy mediterranean diet in the long term and if I find it I'll let you know.

Great book, well written style and a good mix of the history of the Greek diet and the science behind it. NB measures used are cup but easy to change into ml so dont be put off by that

I was a little disappointed with the diet and found that it did not really agree with me. Certainly there was no loss of weight, but I think probably I did not give it long enough. Some of the menus are tasty, worth a try if it suits you

    Enjoyable read and informative

Certainly different, some of the ingredients are American but if you Google them they are easy to change.
